They have two amazing and talented children: Corbin and Kara. Both children are following in their mother's footsteps by attending OSU for their undergrad. Some of their favorite pastimes as a family would be playing board games and dining at the sushi restaurant in Joplin, Missouri.

"I have wanted to be a veterinarian since an early age. This primarily developed due to my innate love for animals, but I later developed a love for science, medicine, surgery, and problem solving. Being a veterinarian was a natural fit."
- Dr. Thomasson
Dr. Thomasson has been married to her wonderful husband Michael since 2016. They live on a small farm in Welch, OK where Michael manages cow/calf pairs. They have a son named Maverick who is wild but sweet, and who loves his life on the farm surrounded by dirt and animals.
